[NEW ALBUM] SR3MM "RaeSremmurd" | @RaeSremmurd

New Album from Rae Sremmurd: SR3MM

The wait is finally over! Rae Sremmurd’s highly-anticipated third studio album, SR3MM, is now available. Debuting in 3 parts (Jxmtro, SR3MM and Swaecation) & totaling 27 tracks, each side offers their own unmistakable unique vibe, which is perfect because Summer is right around the corner!

Hailing from Tupelo, Mississippi, the brothers went from abandoned houses to house parties to number 1 hits & selling out shows! And lately, this duo has been popping up all over the radar. From features to new original tracks, Rae Sremmurd (pronounced Ray--Shrim--er) is remaining relevant by being consistent.

Released on May 4, 2018, SR3MM has entered the Billboard 200 chart in the Top 10. The Rae Sremmurd duo racked up 56,955 total album equivalent units (5,157 in pure album sales and a streaming count of 73,597,207), landing the triple-release project in the number 6 slot. SR3MM is the follow-up to 2016’s SremmLife 2, which debuted at number 7 upon its initial release. So it's progress from the first album because they debuted a spot higher upon initial release for SR3MM than they did for SremmLife 2. And progress is always a plus.

There were a few doubts when critics found out the Sremm- brothers were going to release a triple album. However, I believe the duo put the critics to rest when it finally released. With tracks like "Close" (ft. Travis Scott) and "T'd Up", which is actually their next single, critics have quietened since its release. It goes without showing that you can't judge a book by its cover...or in this case, an album!

Each side consists of 9 tracks (on the track list pictured above). Jxmtro's side has features from artists like Zoe Kravitz, Pharrell, Trouble, and even his brother lends his vocals on a track. While Sway's side--Swaecation, only has one feature: Young Thug on his track "Offshore". We all know what these two can do when they get together...are you excited to hear the solo projects they've released?

Let me know in the comments what you think about the release of SR3MM & what your favorite track is off the album. Thus far, I'd have to say my favorite is "Close" ft. Travis Scott, but "Bedtime Stories" ft. The Weekend is definitely starting to grow on me.

Well, be sure to follow these guys on Twitter & Instagram. And you can get your copy of SR3MM here from iTunes and here from Amazon. You can preview the album below & then let me know in the comments which song you're hoping the duo releases as a single next.

Thanks for stopping by & I hope you enjoyed the content. What album release are you excited for this year? Drop it in the comments & we'll review it once it releases.

Until next time...
